The Hanging Clamp, also known as a suspension clamp, is designed for suspending conductors (or ground wires) onto insulator strings, primarily used on straight-line towers.
The Hanging Clamp, also known as a suspension clamp, is designed for suspending conductors (or ground wires) onto insulator strings, primarily used on straight-line towers. It reliably withstands the full vertical load within the span, ensuring conductors remain securely suspended without slipping under normal operation or line break conditions. The clamp body and keepers are made of aluminum alloy, cotter pins are stainless steel, and all other ferrous parts are hot-dip galvanized for excellent corrosion resistance. Its overhanging angle is not less than 25°, and the curvature radius is no less than 8 times the installed wire diameter. Easy to install and adaptable to various conductor types, it ensures stable power line operation.
