The BD-Type Overhead Ground Wire Suspension Bracket is designed to suspend shield wires (overhead ground wires) on transmission line towers. It provides reliable support while allowing limited angular movement to accommodate line swings under wind or ice loads. Made of high-strength malleable cast iron or fabricated steel with a hot-dip galvanized coating, it ensures excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The bracket features a clevis or eye connection for easy attachment to insulator strings or tower crossarms. Stainless steel cotter pins secure all movable parts.
