Product Introduction
The Counterweight Disc (damper weight plate) is a cast-iron or steel fitting used on overhead transmission lines to increase gravitational load on conductor strings or hardware assemblies. It helps reduce wind-induced oscillation, prevent conductor uplift, and improve line stability. Each disc features a central hole for stacking onto clevis-type hardware or suspension clamps. All ferrous parts are hot-dip galvanized for excellent corrosion resistance. Multiple discs can be combined to achieve precise weight requirements. Easy to install and adjust, the counterweight disc ensures reliable performance under extreme weather conditions. It is essential for controlling conductor sag, damping vibration, and protecting insulators from abnormal tension.
