The Silicone Composite Insulator (polymer insulator) is designed for overhead transmission and distribution lines to provide electrical insulation and mechanical support. It consists of a fiberglass-reinforced epoxy resin rod and silicone rubber sheds. The silicone housing offers excellent hydrophobicity, anti-pollution performance, and resistance to UV, ozone, and tracking. This design effectively prevents flashover in wet or contaminated environments. Lightweight and high-strength, it is easy to handle and install. Hot-dip galvanized end fittings ensure corrosion resistance. Maintenance-free and long-lasting, the silicone composite insulator reduces line maintenance costs, improves power system reliability, and is suitable for voltages up to 1000kV and various weather conditions.
